4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Public Information

The following information is publicly visible to all App users:

• Your profile name and profile picture
• Property and marketplace listings you create (including photos, descriptions, prices, and location)
• Contact information you choose to include in listings (phone number, WhatsApp number)

4.2 Third-Party Services

We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our App:

• Supabase: Our backend database and authentication provider
• Expo: Our app development and deployment platform
• WhatsApp: For direct messaging functionality (when you choose to contact other users)

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).

5. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your data is stored securely using Supabase's cloud infrastructure with the following security features:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL (HTTPS) protocols
• Encryption at Rest: All data stored in our databases is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
• Secure Authentication: User passwords are hashed and salted using industry-standard cryptographic algorithms
• Access Controls: Strict access controls and authentication mechanisms protect your data from unauthorized access

However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to delete your account, please contact us, and we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or regulatory purposes.

6.1 Identity Verification Records

If you verify your account, we keep the identity document you submit (such as a national ID card or passport), the name and number shown on it, and any business documents you provide (such as a trading licence, land title or professional certificate).

We keep these records to identify sellers if fraud is reported, and we may share them with law enforcement where a crime is alleged. This protects other users: without such records, someone who defrauds a buyer could erase the only evidence of who they were simply by deleting their account.

These records are retained for 5 years after your account is deleted, and are then permanently erased. They are visible only to FindAm's verification team, are never shown to buyers or other users, and every occasion on which a member of staff opens them is recorded.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal information
• Data Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format

To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information provided below.

7.1 Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data in two ways:

• In-App: Navigate to Profile → Help & Support within the app and submit an account deletion request
• Email: Send a request to sonafranciskundu@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request"

We will process your deletion request within 30 days and send you a confirmation once completed. Please note that some information may be retained for legal or regulatory purposes as outlined in Section 6 (Data Retention).

One exception applies. Where you have verified your identity, the identity verification records described in Section 6.1 are kept for 5 years after deletion, for fraud prevention, even if you ask us to remove your account. Everything else — your listings, reviews, messages, saved items and subscription — is deleted.

8. Children's Privacy

Our App is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will delete such information.

9. Third-Party Links

Our App may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as WhatsApp). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ. By using our App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these locations.

12. Your Consent

By using our App, you consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our App.
